There are several newsletter, mailing lists that provide very useful information about the latest news. You can consider subscribing to the following:

• This week in NLP: A weekly newsletter curated by Robert Dale. Unfortunately there seems to be no archive, but you can see one of the latest newsletters at this link to get an idea what it normally contains.
• True Positive Weekly: A regular (not always weekly) newsletter with important news from machine learning and artificial intelligence. Quite often it also has NLP related links.
